Popular customer support application Zendesk disclosed on 2nd October that they've suffered a security breach from November 2016. The attacker had access to personal data of approx. 10,000 Zendesk Support and Chat users (customers, agents and end users) activated prior to November 2016. Zendesk admitted that they've learnt about the breach from a third-party. The hacked information includes: email addresses, names, phone numbers and passwords of agents and end-users, as well as Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption keys provided by customers.
The company notified all impacted users via email and plans to reset passwords for all users registered before November 1, 2016.
