Hosting Service in Former NATO Bunker Shut Down

German authorities shut down large data processing center meant to conceal illicit activities. It was hosting illegal sites such as "Wall Street Market" (shut down by authorities in spring), "Cannabis Road", "Orange Chemicals", and other dealing in drugs, hacking tools, financial-theft wares and child pornography. The hosting service has been installed in a former NATO bunker, five floors underground. The entire area was surrounded by barbed wire and heavily monitored.

200 servers were seized in the operation, along with documents, mobile phones, and cash. Seven people were arrested, the main suspect being a 59-years-old Dutch national, who acquired the former military bunker in Traben-Trarbach.
