European Central Bank Attacked

The European Central Bank had been hit by a cyberattack and as a result one of its websites had to be shut down. The website has been hacked already in December 2018, but the breach was discovered only last week. The 481 newsletter subscriber’s contact information (email addresses, names and position titles) was possibly stolen. The information breach may seem small, but this is enough for a wide-spread phishing email campaign, especially in the banking industry.
