Attack on Virgin Mobile Poland

Telecommunication services provider, Virgin Mobile informed their clients in Poland about unauthorized access to their systems and breach of personal data. The breach affected 12% of Virgin Mobile Poland's prepaid customers - their names and surnames, as well as personal identification number (PESEL) or ID number were accessed without authorization.

The attack targeted one of the company's applications and took place from 18 to 22 December. All affected customers were notified about it during Christmas holidays.
